Ulster Hockey will be running an National Introductory Umpire Course in February at Newforge Country Club, Belfast. This will be the last umpiring course this season.
This is the fourth of the recently launched IHUA umpires course to be run in Ulster. Candidates will receive a work book, a ‘Fox 40’ whistle and a small laminated ‘areas of control’ coloured pocket card.
Umpiring is a great way to be involved in hockey. It gives you the opportunity to give something back to the sport you love, whilst also helping to widen participation in the sport. There are opportunities for everyone to umpire and whatever your aspirations, you will receive support from Ulster Hockey!
